As a Unit, CAT members are involved in ensuring that they sensitize their peer group and community on the ill effects of tobacco and the tactics of tobacco industry. Following provides overview of CAT’s activities.

  • Create Tobacco Free Zone around 100yards of a School and Conduct survey of the Zone
  • Conduct “CAT’s Day Out” to monitor Tobacco Free Zone for any tobacco control violations
  • Educate the peer on the hazards of tobacco usage and about the tactics of Tobacco Industry.
  • Sensitize the parents and community on the evils of tobacco and motivate them for cessation.
  • Conduct competitions like painting, drawing, essay writing, exhibitions etc, related to tobacco eradication
  • Conduct Monthly Meetings to share, evaluate and initiate new activities
  • Monitor for Tactics of Tobacco Industry and Report Violations through Tobacco Monitor App
